Labour scoping & supply, simplified →
OneScope are a Strategic Workforce Consultancy based in Christchurch and Auckland, New Zealand.
We work with the construction industry to help provide certainty, consistency, and desired project outcomes through their workforce.
Imagine a labour hire industry that works together, through one central agency that ensures consistency in Health & Safety, supports career pathway programs, implements environmental and sustainable practices, ethical migrant recruitment standards, and enables collaboration for all labour supply agencies.
Services
Tender Document Support
With every project different, the struggles for ensuring an adequate volume of skilled labour to site change from job to job. With OneScope being involved early on at tender stage the client of the build project can implement our services into their tender ensuring that all contractors involved in the build can improve their capability to deliver.
Multi-Agency Labour Supply
In order to receive the best possible labour supply to site there must be a number of agencies involved. The challenge with that is gaining consistency from each agency, in price, in health & safety, in calibre of staff, in everything… OneScope collaborates with labour hire agencies and manages the process of receiving labour to site and empowers each agency to have greater ability to add value to each project.
Standardised Ethical Migrant Recruitment
Utilising our Licenced Immigration Advisory team, we can ensure each of our projects and the employers on them are all upholding ethical and legal immigration standards for any migrant staff they may have employed or that are received from labour hire agencies.
Temporary or Remote Accommodation
Through our accommodation providers from around the country, we can pre-plan and organise accommodation to enable high calibre staff to move to new areas where they are required, as well as help manage any incoming migrant labour the project may need to fill technical positions.
SiteM8 – Worker Management System
OneScope is an exclusive reseller of the SiteM8 system and can implement it to any project/employer globally. This system allows superior health & safety to any site, ensures all hours charged to the project are accurate and enables oversight from a client level like never before.
Staff Scheduling
Through involvement at the tender stage, OneScope is able to pre-organise staff with Labour Hire partners to greatly improve the delivery time of quality staff to site. The traditional way of reactive labour hire is a thing of the past, giving agencies more time to find the top workers available means a better result on site.
How We Work
OneScope adds value to every project it is involved in by implementing a labour strategy at the design engineering level of the project, sharing its innovative capabilities to all labour and enabling project objectives to be respected from the client to the ground level.
1
Early Engagement
We engage at the design engineering phase of the project to introduce our innovative practices and how they will increase project productivity, safety and efficiency for the project client.
2
Contractor Collaboration
We collaborate with the selected contractor delivering the project (and their sub-contractors) to offer those capabilities where it is required.
3
Oversight & Empowerment
We manage and oversee all labour hire providers and empower them with professional practices and technology to help them raise their capabilities to do their best possible job of supplying labour.
